The Handmaid’s Tale is set on a 1985 novel by Margaret Atwood, telling the story of June. June is one of the few fertile women, known as a handmaid, who struggles to stay alive after she is employed as a surrogate by a powerful commander and his resentful wife.
From what we know, The Handmaid’s Tale season 6 would be picking exactly from where season 5 ended. The show’s season 5 ended when June and Serene boarded a refugee train to anywhere but Boston. According to the sources, season 6 would be about June’s spirit and determination after she finds herself in a situation where she has to take down Gilead for the final time.
