5 TV Shows to Watch if You Love Bridgerton | Shows Like Bridgerton

Posted on May 22, 2025May 22, 2025 by official.honeynhugs@gmail.com

Are you burning for the next season of Bridgerton? If you have absolutely devoured all three seasons of this century piece and are yearning for more, the good news is Netflix just dropped Bridgerton season 4 release dates. Plus, the show has also been renewed for Seasons 5 and 6. And, if you are wondering, Bridgerton season 4 IS about Benedict Bridgerton. That said, if you are searching for more shows like Bridgerton, here are some century pieces we know you’ll love. Scroll down to explore TV shows to watch if you absolutely love Bridgerton.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story

What’s a better way to get all those Bridgerton vibes than a spin-off? This “prequel” is everything your heart desires. Running around the love story of Queen Charlotte and King George (or Farmer George), this show is just one of the best Netflix shows 2025. The show starts when Charlotte is set to wed the mysterious yet dashing King George, and soon discovers he is not what he seems (in a good way). While we did see George’s mental struggle in Season 2, this series goes deep into George’s condition and shows how the couple navigates this and finds love.

PS: the show also delivered some great dialogues and acclamation of love, we are still not over.

The Reign as the Best TV Shows to Watch

Similar to Bridgerton, this show is also a century piece, with some intense drama and love triangles. The show is about Mary, the Queen of Scotland, who is set to marry Francis, the Crown Prince of France. In short, the show is a biography of Mary, on how she navigates intense love, hatred, friendship, and what leads her to being executed by Elizabeth.

And, while the show has a bit of intense scenes, it is high rated, especially if you go by the acting and the chemistry the duo shares in the series. The show has about 7 seasons, with 24 episodes in every season. In short, if you are looking for a period drama to binge watch, THIS IS IT.

The Outlander

Talk time traveling and falling in love with someone who lived almost 200 years before you did! The thrilling love angle of Jamie and Claire does have some dark scenes and intense fights, but the duo literally goes beyond the clock of time to be with one another.

With intricate plot twists and awesome acting, the show is by far the best TV show to watch if you love Bridgerton. Placed in 1740s Scotland, the show has some steamy romance scenes, different timelines, and new enemies. However, it is safe to say that Jamie and Claire’s love never dims.

The Harlots

If you love shows like Bridgerton, but are looking for something grittier, Harlots should be on your watchlist. This TV show revolves around Margaret Wells, a brothel owner who relocated her two daughters to richer areas to attract richer clients. The problem arises when a rival madam, who runs an elite brothel, gets to know about them. Easy said, there’s a lot of drama, scandals, love triangles, and rivalries.

Plus, it’s also great how the show highlights and normalizes sex work for a living.

The Great a Comedy TV Shows to Watch

We bet you have heard about this one. Considered a great follow-up to Bridgerton, this show has a bit of unexpected humor. The series follows a young Catherine, the Great, who was shipped to Russia to marry Peter III. She ultimately overthrew him and ruled the land on her own.

The series talks about women’s empowerment, the plight of women during that time, and some stunning puns in between.
