Wednesday Season 2 Release Dates
Back in 2024, Netflix confirmed that Wednesday season 2 will be back sometime in 2025. Also, Netflix confirmed that season 2 production has already started in May 2024. Plus, in December 2024, Netflix officially announced that production for Wednesday season 2 has been wrapped up.
However, the production has wrapped up, Jenna Ortega said that there’s still a lot of work left to be done. The edits are ongoing. So, while we are still waiting for final dates, Season 2 of Wednesday will be around sooner than later.
This Netflix original show is a mix of dark thriller, comedy, fantasy, and horror. The first season was about Wednesday’s shift to Nevermore after being an outcast.
The season also covered a supernatural mystery that was related to her parents. The season ended with multiple cliffhangers. Wednesday’s visual experts shared that season 2 will be exploring more about the characters involved. Jenna Ortega also shared that Wednesday Season 2 will develop more on the horror aspect of the show. Plus, one of the episodes of season 2 might be all just slashers.
What About Castings?: Lady Gaga in Season 2?
We will definitely be seeing a lot of new faces and maybe, JUST maybe, for a brief amount of time- Lady Gaga. In 2024, a source confirmed that we might see Lady Gaga briefly. In fact, Jenna Ortega herself overshadowed that we might briefly see Gaga on set.
Meanwhile, Jenna has also teased about a dozen new castings, which would include all sorts of vampires and werewolves.
Will There Be A New Season After Season 2?
